About Cody McKenna...

Cody McKenna is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, producer, audio engineer, music video/film director, writer, storyteller, and is the mastermind behind all of the projects featured throughout the pages on this site (sans some of the collaborative projects). Self taught, he picked up a guitar at the age of 14 and never put it down. As a teenager, he spent years developing his guitar prowess by studying and meticulously learning music by artists/bands such as System of a Down, Coheed & Cambria, Van Halen, Jason Becker, Pantera, Alter Bridge, and many more. After discovering Dream Theater late in his teenage years, he stepped through the door to the progressive music genre and hasn't returned. Now, almost twenty years later, he's released six albums and five singles over four projects, with three albums and an EP currently in the works between The Circle Of Wonders, his singer/songwriter solo project, ALL HAIL, and Grizzly Hollow, not to mention the planned albums for The Circle Of Wonders (currently, there are stories drafted for the next seven albums).

Through his various projects, his goal is to make a name for himself as a respected musician and creator within the progressive music community - a community he's proudly been a part of as a fan for the better part of 20 years.

Currently, Cody resides in Burbank, California with his wife and son, as well as their dog, and four cats. There, he operates his home music studio, STAR COMMAND STUDIOS, where he writes, records, produces, and mixes music for all of these projects, as well as the stories that accompany them. His latest effort - an 87 minute concept album called IV: Timber, released under his The Circle Of Wonders moniker - was made available on October 21, 2024 under the STAR COMMAND label.
